After getting dim sum for Brunch on Sunday, we came to the Botanical Garden. It was a hot and humid day, reminds me of Taiwan! Good thing my friends came prepared with sunscreen and water bottles, else I would be sunburnt and dehydrated. PSA: If you are afraid of caterpillars, do not scroll down any further! 自從得知要搬來維吉尼雅，就把Codex放在我的必吃清單。沒多做研究，到了餐廳時才發現Codex是共用Pendulum肉店的場地。
I bookmarked Codex a long time ago, but I didn’t realize it shares location with a fine meats market called Pendulum.

最近外食頻繁，味覺已疲乏，但這炸雞真的是今晚大亮點！炸半雞，卻完全不乾澀，而且肉醃的超入味。
Highlight of the night was their fried chicken! Their chicken breast wasn’t dry and every bite was flavorful.

好啦，我家已經差不多打理好了。要開始煮最近找到的新食譜。畢竟現在的廚房比之前紐約大太多了，我得好好利用。
I’m almost done with organizing our new place. Time for me to get back to experimenting with my newly acquired cookbooks and kitchen toys. Especially since my new kitchen is much more spacious than my NYC one!
